HOW TO WRITE A SPY THRILLER.

HOW TO WRITE A SPY THRILLER?

Hello book admirers! Welcome to Mr. Write. I hope you enjoy the first post and learn something new. How to write a great spy thriller. And the end of the video I will recommend some books to you for starting a great spy thriller.

Spy thrillers are a great genre for decades. Starting from the era of the famous MI6 character James Bond to the modern-day characters Jack Ryan, spy thrillers are thrilling people to sharpen their brains and make their nerves run as cold as possible. But how to write nail-biting suspense? Let`s jump into the video by taking the example of Mission Impossible Fallout. Mission Impossible Fallout is rated as one of the best spy films in Hollywood. It is a great model for a perfect spy genre. The twists and the action in the film give an instant inspiration to write a good book though it is not a book.

The opening of the movie starts with great action. This is the right way to hook your readers. This is also called as grabbing your readers by an illusion. The first action scene doesn’t have any big connection with the main story. But please mind this it should still connect to the story though. The real spy story starts when there will be an internal conflict.

The main theme of a thriller is not to get to know about the real villain. Trapping your readers by making them think of someone as a villain but not the boss. And the next great thing about spy thrillers is keeping the villain on the hero’s side. In the movie, the main antagonist is a covert agent working with the protagonist Ethan Hunt and making the protagonist believe the antagonist as his own man. This is very essential for an inciting story. And making the protagonist a mere fool.

But every coin has its opposite side. The spy thriller gets to a pace from here. In the movie, when the protagonist gets to know about the antagonist he chases antagonist in his own plan. Making antagonist a fool now. The turning point of the story is the gap between the scenes making the protagonist and antagonist fools. Then the protagonist goes to the antagonist and defeats him. The story ends. But wait this is not the end of the video if you think. The essential points make the reader give a wow expression.

Point number 1. Make your reader visualize something before he is half of the book. For example, John is a CIA agent, he goes to a covert operation in a middle east country against a bad group who wants to destroy the America. But dies in the attacks. Show the readers the fall of the protagonist. Make them believe the story is going to end soon and the other half is a drag. Let them be in the mood. Let them think the story of the protagonist is Kabam! The two things the readers get to know is one, the story is having something rich. The story is having nothing more. I hope most of the people hang to the first one. Whatever, they will read the other half so that they can give you a five-star rating for your book on Amazon. My word.

Point number 2. Tons of action. Try to create as much action as possible. This makes the reader more interesting. The secret tip is to use guns and a variety of fancy gadgets.

Point number 3. Make sure the raise of the protagonist is as strong as the fall. Now you are in the second half of the story. Make sure you give the readers a small lead point through the supporting characters and lead the truth. From the above example take a supporting character and he gets to know that his CIA colleague is still undercover and trying to stop the bad guys by making the bad guys believe the protagonist is dead.

Point number 4. Show some destruction of the other characters and props, governments, cities, etc., until your supporting character breaks his head to lead the case till he finds the truth of the protagonist and activeness.

Point number 5. As I said before have great opening action scenes full of attacks with guns, I prefer hand-to-hand fights to drag the book.  That is a great opportunity to attract readers.

Finally, if you are going to start a new book, here are some books I wanna recommend you to read. Before that have potential research and a great plotting that impresses you first.

The books are:

American Assasin by Vince Flynn.

Jack Ryan books,

Ian Flemming’s james bond if you want to have stylish protagonists and.....

I wish you a best of luck and may all your writing dreams come true.
